We Are Blu Renew
It all started when…
… we moved from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign back to our hometown of Chicago. As most recent graduates can probably attest to, we had limited budgets for our friends and families celebrations. Frustrated by the impersonality of buying cheaper, off the shelf gifts, we decided to design and handcraft keepsakes. Soon thereafter we received requests to design custom trophies, plaques, event centerpieces and other products. We rose to the challenge becoming BluRenew.
We design, fabricate, hand assemble and package our products in Chicago ensuring a custom experience from inception to delivery. We consult with individuals and businesses to discover and express value to branding offering full-service, comprehensive design services. We execute events from accessories to full planning services to bring focus to brand. We repurpose, upcycle and use modest materials wherever possible. We partner with clients to express a unique vision for brands, events, and gifts.

Gloria and Lee, Chicago born and bred, are founders of BluRenew. Inspired by urban and natural themes, our passion for storytelling informs how we approach every project.
Gloria Andujar is an Artist, Graphic Designer and Brand Manager. Her passion for the arts began long ago inspired and challenged by her grandmother whose independence and self reliant nature led to a DIY approach early. Everything form sewing to renovation, sculpting, painting, graphic design and everything in between. She founded BluBoutiq 2011 by designing unique gifts for her sisters of Lambda Tau Omega Sorority, Inc. Her artistic ability coupled with her experience managing small and large teams at multiple businesses and organizations makes her invaluable for event planning & logistics and executing your vision.
Leeswann Bolden is an Architectural, Urban Planning and Agricultural Designer. Her interdisciplinary approach to problem solving fosters inclusive design at multiple scales. Design was a household pursuit, inspired by her father’s carpentry and mother’s ability to transform interior and exterior spaces with few resources. Her experience lies at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and architecture. Through mastery of software technology, tools, and design of space she brings fresh perspective to the table with all details considered.
